from this article that is being provided. i'm trying to decided whether which evidence or rather say argument that is powerful enough to actually make a judgement whether Equiano's birth is africa or not. allow me to welcome you to comment regarding the arguments from both sides about Equiano's birth place

In my opinion, I personally think that the most powerful side of the debate or argument concerning Equiano's birth would be the side of the debate which argues that he was indeed born in Africa and not in South Carolina. The reasons for this would be because of the fact that this side of the debate provides us with much more valuable, reliable and authentic evidence. Equiano himself also provides us with a lot of detailed evidence as to where he was born as well as his childhood life in Africa and to me that's more than enough evidence to prove that he was indeed born in Africa and we should not be fooled by the independent documents which proves Equiano to be unauthentic.
