The pictures show a true reflection of what thr slave trade was for many of the slaves including Equiano. Any slave would have wanted to abolish this trade... but Equiano had the education and mind set to contribute to the abolish of this horrific trade.. on some sense making Equiano a hero in his own right
Zaskia Muller, I agree with you on that one, I could not have said that any better!!! Equiano is indeed a hero as well as an legend and he should by all means be remembered by this.
i feel like these pictures tell a story which was never really heard. lets give honour to Equiano as well as the other abolitionist like Thomas clarckson. Whoever had faced sufferings from slavery would have fought against it and abolish it.
